Power of the Press (POP for short) was started in 2024 to connect members of our community with local orchards that needed a team to pick and juice their apples. 

This creates an opportunity to save orchards, learn, have fun, make juice and new friends. If you’ve never done this before, these events are for you. We have volunteers who come back year and year because they enjoy it and we want everyone to feel welcome and able to join in. It’s really fun, don’t worry, we can answer your queries. 

We are running a number of POP apple picking and POP apple juicing events this coming season – and if you check the list below you’ll be able to see the dates and times when we’d love you to join us to help make these days a success, full of connection, camaraderie, fun, friendship and plenty of juice.

Booking is really easy,  when we have POP Pick and Press dates planned we’ll add them below so that you can just click an event, fill in your contact details and press ‘book course’.  You’ll get an email with more details and can contact our POP Lead Volunteer if you have any queries.
